This is model Laura Ponte, photographed by Elin Klin of the great Swedish Style by Kling blog. What I especially love about this photo is the mosaic floor!

Dinner on the first night of my holidays. I made the caprese salad and my husband cooked the steak - it was perfectly cooked and utterly delicious.
I love this photo!! It has a very cool Asian lounge vibe.

What a great denim look! I am sure that those are not store-bought clothes. A good DIY project.

A new fave dessert: vanilla ice-cream with crushed almonds. Yummy! And relatively low carb...
Denim cut-offs are THE item for this summer. Should wear mine more, while there's still time...

I love this photo, which is actually an ad for Silver Tequila. I love the unnatural position of the lady, the way she looks, and the way she's holding the glass. I could use a stiff drink myself right about now...I've been organizing electronic archives for hours and hours....time for bed!
I absolutely adore this sweater! One day, I will knit something like this.
Scanned from a magazine.
This look would be quite practical here in Finland - sweater over an evening gown. I love the hairstyle too. I'd love to knit a sweater like this.
This is also scanned from a magazine and I'm afraid I don't know which one or who the clothes were designed by.
This is also from Columbine Smille's gorgeous blog: a Chinese shop in Bilbao, Spain. Oh how I miss China! I lived there for two years (1999-2000). I adore this kind of Chinese furniture and hope to have lots of it in my home in the future.

Here's something I haven't seen before: thick anklets like this. They do look great. Shoes by Prada.
This is from one of my fave Swedish blogs:

This is Van Gogh's old room - made to look like his painting of it. So it's part real, part trompe l'oeil. This house is in Arles, France.
The name of the restaurant translates roughly as "the gluttonous lion". Taken in Arles, France.
This photo just takes my breath away. It's so beautiful I almost can't stand it. This was taken in Arles - and it's full of houses like this.
This is one of the things I love about Southern Europe - the sheer quantities of flowers.
As has already become apparent, I love little old cars. I saw this unusual one somewhere in the South of France.
This looks a lot like my dream house. Only it would not be in Provence, it would be somewhere in Italy, maybe Tuscany or Piemonte.
You can always tell when I'm doing some major sight-seeing: that's the only time I wear these kinds of really sensible shoes! Hat by Marimekko, purse by Furla (thrifted). Tank top was bought years ago in Milan. White hoodie (worn around waist) from Stockholm, Sweden. Pants probably from Greece. Shoes from KL, Malaysia. I paid a couple of euros for them and wore them for years.
I saw these gorgeous textiles in a small shop, in a small town in Provence (I can't remember the name anymore).
I'm crocheting a giant granny square, meaning that instead of making several small ones, I just keep going. Let's see how big it will eventually get - I'm even thinking it could be a bed spread for a double bed...
This is the last pair of shoes I got for 6 euros. These are leather, from Andiamo. I simply love the way they look. These will be great for wearing at the office in the autumn.
This pair of shoes was also for 6 euros. However, these are probably not leather (time will tell). I love them because they look a bit like cowboy boots.
This was another pair of leather shoes I got for 6 euros. I also got a purse in the exact same colour for 2 euros (not leather).
