Accessories
The accessories I was wearing on my trip to Stockholm: Longchamp purse, Burberry silk scarf (bought second-hand from a friend) and my no-name sunglasses bought in India.
The Grass is Always Greener
I just came back from a trip to Stockholm, Sweden. This was the table of an ice-cream parlour. The style is perfect in its simplicity.

Chanel Chowing Down
Chanel, one of our cats, enjoying her breakfast. I had just cleaned the feeding area so had to take a photo. It stayed clean about two seconds, because cats seem to be unable to eat without spreading the food all over the place. Usually some ends up in the water dish too.

Pink Heart Pocket
Another recent pink-and-blue outfit. Note the pink heart pocket on my knitted bag. I knitted the pink heart pattern first, just to practice a pattern I found and then I started thinking that it would be nice to use it for something and I then came up with the purse to sew it onto (both patterns are from "Stich 'n Bitch" by Debbie Stoller). I now use the bag for my current knitting project.
Pink and Blue
Like Picasso, I seem to be going through a blue period: I find myself constantly drawn to blue things. Maybe I'll need to change the name of my blog? Lady Has the Blues? However, I do often combine blue with hot pink, as in this outift from about a week ago.
Breakfast
Our local Lidl sells pretty good freshly baked croissants. One of my achievements during August was that I completely weaned myself off caffeine: both coffee and Coke Zero. I still drink both occasionally, being careful not to get addicted again. When I'm addicted, I get a bad headache if I don't get caffeine by about 10 am, and I don't like to be addicted to anything. Well, maybe knitting. Anyway, I'm now enjoying many different kinds of tea, usually with honey.
Sunny Day
A day at the local swimmin' hole. This was taken at the beginning of August, it's now already quite cold and it rained today. One can only dream.
Feline Guardian
Kenzo the cat guarding my things. The wallet is Jean-Paul Gaultier (bought in India at a huge discount, I forget if it was 50% or 70% off), the phone is Nokia. The knit is the first ever sweater I've knitted. It's on hold at the moment, it's proving quite challenging.
