This is what I wore today to walk to the grocery store: my trusted Burberry trench, my new hand-knitted bag and jeans from Orsay.
The weather has been crazy lately: +30 C one day, +15 C the next.
Random ideas and images. Fashion, decorating, style...whatever I find beautiful.

Rainy Day
Office Look
I wore this to work a couple of days ago; I really love this look, it's a bit Marilyn Monroesque. The skirt is from Tesco's here in Ostrava, the shoes are from Orlando, Florida about 6 years ago (and I still wear them constantly), the top is from a rummage sale and the purse from Italy (high quality leather, but not a name brand).

Purse by Me
This is the first time I've ever made a bag for myself instead of buying it. I knitted this in only 10 days and the total cost is probably about 2 euros (for the yarn, which was from a discount shop).
I am sure that this will be the first of many purses and bags that I knit, since I'm a total purse-freak; I buy more all the time. So maybe now I can be more self-sufficient when it comes to purses.

Cat Walk
Walking our cat Chanel. We try to take both cats out nearly every day - they really love it.
I am looking very much like a hippy in this outfit. Mostly the pieces are from India. The top is EDC by Esprit, but I bought it in India: I love the colour and the paisley pattern. The hat is Marimekko, from Finland.
Hand Knit Socks
These are designer Susan B. Anderson's handknit sock drawers, as seen on Facebook, here:

Windy Day
With the sun in my eyes and the wind in my hair. It's July now and the weather in Ostrava is crazy: it was +11 C this morning when I woke up! We went out for ice-cream, but I was wearing a sweater: it was +23 C, but quite windy.
This is my new, fave sweater that I bought as a souvenir from Zurich. It was on sale at Vero Moda for 10 euros. I wear it constantly and like it so much that I'm planning on knitting one similar to it in a different colour. I've never knitted a sweater before, so let's see what happens.
The purse was a souvenir from Krakow, Poland. I no longer buy knick-knacks as souvenirs: these days I only buy things that I can wear, i.e. clothes and accessories. And whenever I wear them, I think of the place where I bought them - so they are real souvenirs.
