Random ideas and images. Fashion, decorating, style...whatever I find beautiful.
This was my birthday present from my husband (although I did actually pick it out myself...). It's a 22 carat gold heart from Delhi, India. It's huge! I'll need to post a photo of it where you can make out the size better. It's not heavy since it's not solid but hollow. The price was around 450 euros, which is a lot of money, but I am sure it would have cost a lot more in Europe...
My sapphire ring and pendant from India, both in 22 carat gold. I also have a matching pair of stud earrings. The reason I bought so much jewelry while in India is that it's so much cheaper there. Apparently you could sell jewelry bought from India for about three times as much in Germany and, well, Finland is even more expensive than Germany. So I would make a profit if I sold my jewelry at auction. However, I'm not sure I want to. :-)
Some of my jewelry. You can see here that I have two different colours of gold: the gold from Finland is a bit pink-ish and the gold from India is very, very yellow. The Finnish gold is 18 carats and the Indian gold is 22 carats.
