The Pink One is Back

It seems that it's been more than three years since I posted here. I believe that I stopped blogging because we moved to Spain (Castelldefels, Catalonia - near Barcelona) and because we never did get a home internet connection there. We just went to the local "locutorio" (internet cafe) whenever we needed to, which was mostly to look for work.

We were finally not able to find enough work to live on so, after six months, we left Spain and moved to the UK. We were offered work in the Newcastle area and ended up living there for two years.

Nearly a year ago, on September 15th, 2016, I arrived in Malta and soon started in a new job in St. Julians. So that's a very quick recap of the last three years or so! We now live in a small town called Zabbar.

I feel like posting again, but am now using my iPad, so I still need to figure out how exactly to do it. For instance, I was not able to post a new photo, it just offered me ones I had already posted...so this one is from 2010, when we were living in India. Anyway, I'll soon figure it out.

It's good to be back!

One of my fave outfits to wear when the weather is super-hot. We were in Hurghada, Egypt in August, so it was hot all right. The skirt is from a trip to Malaysia in 2000 and I still wear it every year. The top is from a trip to Greece, also years ago - it's just a little piece of fabric that ties at the back. I would normally not wear it in the street because the back is completely bare, but it's good for the beach and for wearing inside the resort, as in this photo.
